We are now taking submissions for short plays to be fully staged as part of our summer festival. The submission window will open for TEN DAYS ONLY. Your submitted piece should be 10-25 minutes in length, and ideally will contain a cast of 1-4 performers.

Submissions should be ready for staging, rather than in need of workshopping. There are no specifications in content or genre— send it all our way! 

The festival will take place August 28, 29, and 30th at TARGET MARGIN Theater in Brooklyn, NY, with a total of four performances: three evening shows and one matinee. The rehearsal period will begin in mid-July. 

Our WRITE CLUB mission has always been to empower, uplift, and offer space to new and emerging artists in the film/theatre/written art spaces. After last year, we knew we had to do this all again. PLAYFEST is our chance to offer a meaningful stage to new works!
